McKenna.Law, PLLC (M|L) is a law firm located in Bedford, New Hampshire, focused on serving closely-held businesses and business owners. M|L also offers complex trust, trust administration, tax, and estate planning for its clients, which grew naturally from working with many business owners needing competent help with these important documents in a way that dovetailed with their business governance as well as exit and succession planning needs.

M|L was founded in 2023 by Ryan McKenna, a New Hampshire native and former business executive for companies in the Seattle and Boston markets, Ryan earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (f/k/a Franklin Pierce Law) in Concord, NH, and his Masters in Business Administration from the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire (f/k/a Whittemore School of Business) in Durham, NH, earning the distinction of the top M.B.A. student award for "excellence in scholarship, academics, and character." He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Thomas More College of Liberal Arts in Merrimack, NH, dual majoring in philosophy and political science. During the course of his studies, he has completed residencies in Rome, Italy, and the financial district of New York.

Upon completing his graduate work in law and business in the Granite State, Ryan spent his next decade in the corporate space as a corporate executive and General Counsel at corporations in the Seattle and then Boston markets rather than becoming an associate at a law firm. This path-less-traveled provided him a better understanding of the needs and operations of businesses than his law firm colleagues, who joined law firms pursuing the path to partner along conventional lines.

After gaining a decade of experience as a corporate executive, Ryan returned to the Granite State with his sizeable family to launch his own law firm, which leverages Ryan's experience in business to maximize the impact he delivers to his clients' deals. As a business-savvy transactional attorney, Ryan thrives at addressing issues occurring at the intersection of law and business. He understands business needs "from the inside out" and can often bridge the gap between outside counsels methods and the practical needs and perspective of the business owners.

Ryan enjoys a robust family life in Bedford, NH, as well as grappling (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu). He enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities in the White Mountains.
